Updates In Progress

  • Instead of designing an MCAT prep course that requires a giant lump-sum payment, attendance, sketchy guarantees, etc., I’m currently developing a series of highly requested topics (such as Metabolism, Electrochemistry, Fluids, and more) where you can sign up to attend a single lecture for that topic, rather than having to pay for every single lecture that a prep course might offer. That way, you can pick and choose what you need help with and can pay to just attend that single lecture, which will accompany a 1-2 hour period where I will simply answer your questions to make sure everyone understands the content.

I will be charging a small fee for each of these lectures, right now I am planning on charging $10 per person for a roughly 4 hour session, but will update those numbers as I understand how much time the preparation takes as well as how many people sign up. As more people sign up, I’ll make the lectures cheaper!

This project will take several months to develop, but I am hoping to have my first few lectures ready by May of ‘25. Please sign up for updates to know when these will begin if you are interested!

  • To serve as a quick reference guide, I have preparred and am working on a few more “cheat-sheets”, which will emphasize and visualize the most important aspects about a certain topic in a short amount of time. These are all entirely free, and will be placed in the MCAT Resources tab.

  • There are hundreds of fantastic and free videos available on YouTube that explain various topics tested by the MCAT, but I hope to add into this collection. I’m hoping to have a series of videos that are specifically applicable to the MCAT, not just that topic in general, ensuring you are only hearing the content you need to know and understand, rather than all of the content about said topic. Additionally, sometimes all it takes to understand a confusing bit of content is to hear it in a certain way, and the more ways you hear a subject, maybe it will click one of those instances.

This is a project I will start sometime soon (spring of ‘25), but will put on pause if my lectures draw enough interest.

  • For example, questions such as, “when should I start on AAMC materials?”, or, “what should I eat before my exam?”, or, “which metabolism structures do I need to know?”

  • There are already several absolutely remarkable anki decks available for studying the MCAT that I have even commented on in my MCAT Tips page, and I am only hoping to add to the options that pre-med students have available for their choosing.

I’m currently working on a deck that has an intermediate number of cards, between 1500-2000 total, that covers information from the AAMC materials, recent exams, Khan Academy materials, and more. Each card will have a concise explanation of the term or concept, an easier-to-understand explanation, a picture, and any other clarifying information that might be needed if the term is similar to any other terms. Pick which one of those devices is most helpful to your learning style and run with it!

  • This project has already been started, as I have already completed and written out an explanation for every FSQ in the new section bank, but I hope to have completed the passages by sometime this summer.

Obviously, the questions are property of the AAMC and I am only providing an explanation to add further depth to the questions, you will not be able to see the questions on my document for obvious reasons, just simply an alternative explanation.
